Eminem will be hitting Stores with his new Album Relapse, the confirmation just came today. The first Single from Relapse will get released on April 7th, simultaneous with the Video.

And that’s not all, Eminem is already working on the follow-up Album “Relapse 2″. The Fans can expect this Album to drop in the second half of 2009.

Eminem said: “A lot of people were expecting Relapse to drop last year. I was one of them. Then Dre and I went back in the studio in September for a few days, and that turned into six months. We were on such a roll; we wound up with a ton of new music produced by Dre. Putting out Relapse 2 will let everyone get all of the best stuff.”

“Crack A Bottle”, the latest collaborative single from 50 Cent, Eminem and Dr. Dre, is expected to stand at the top of ‘The Billboard Hot 100′ when the chart is released tomorrow (February 12).

According to Billboard, the song soared from No. 78 to No. 1 on the chart and has set a record for opening week download sales (418,000).

The record previously belonged to T.I. and Rihanna who shifted 335,000 downloads with their collaborative single “Live My Live” last year.

Among all weekly sales, “Crack A Bottle” comes in third after Flo Rida’s “Low” (467,000) and Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” (419,000).

Various media outlets had attached “Crack A Bottle” to Eminem’s upcoming Relapse album but 50 Cent revealed last week that the song will appear on his album, Before I Self Destruct.

Before I Self Destruct is slated for release next month. Eminem and Dr. Dre will be releasing their albums later this year.

Last night, Ross called in to Hot 97′s Miss Info and argued 50′s actions should not take attention away from the lyrical battle.

“We not gonna let Curly (50 Cent) distract us from the fact ‘Mafia Music’ ended his career,’ Ross declared. “The man has not charted a #1 record in Lord knows how long.”

Addressing Dr. Dre and Eminem, Ross claimed the two superstars are hurting their legacies by their close association with 50.

“He makes Dr. Dre look like a [expletive]. I got Cool and Dre. Eminem is a genius,” Ross explained. “The worst move he could’ve done is be affiliated with such a monkey. He’s (50 Cent) a parody of Hip-Hop. I’m speaking from the streets.” Last night, 50 Cent also called in to Hot 97, speaking with Funkmaster Flex.

The mogul claimed that he has secured a tell-all book deal for Tia Kemp, and that his recent attack was based on Ross’ previous demand for 50 to “come with something better within 48 hours.”

Record labels are approaching another financially weak year, as a minimum of 200 million albums in the last quarter is now required in order to break even with last year’s low total.

According to Variety, the music industry officially closed out with a total of 297.9 million albums sold for the third quarter making it already 12 percent less than the previous year. 2007 saw a total of 500.5 million in sales with over 30 percent of the records purchased stemming from the fourth quarter. However, this year the industry would have to up the amount to over 40 percent.

With a strong line-up of upcoming albums believed to drop before 2009 including releases from Kanye West, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes and possible albums from Dr. Dre, Eminem and Andre 3000, the goal may still be attainable.

According to an online report, the son of legendary producer Dr. Dre was found dead in his home on Saturday morning. The report named the deceased man as 20-year-old Andre Young Jr.

Young’s cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report.

“I spoke to Dre a few months ago, and he was just calling to check in,” Game said. “It wasn’t really about nothing. Nothing worth talking about. I wish him well with Detox, but I don’t need Dre or anybody to make my sh** come to life.”
Although Game isn’t worried about making the project, he does say that without him, he doesn’t think Dre can even finish the project.

In fact, the rapper’s lack of involvement would be an injustice to the album, in Game’s eyes.

“I don’t really care about being on Detox. I don’t think Dre can finish Detox without having me on it, man,” he said. “I’m the West Coast — I am the West Coast. You can’t do anything on the West Coast without involving myself, my name, or my brand. For me not to be a part of Detox, Dre would be doing himself an injustice, not me.”

Who ends up making the final tracklist is yet to be seen, and at press time, there was still no confirmed release date for the project, despite Dr. Dre revealed, back in July, that he was “shooting for a November or December release for Detox.
