DMX is getting ready to bless fans with his first full disc of new music in six years when he releases his new album, Undisputed, March 27 via United Music & Media Group.

The album will see Dark Man X reunited with Swizz Beatz, who has produced some of X’s biggest hits including “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” “Party Up,” and “Get It On the Floor.” Additional production will come from Deezle, the beatmaker responsible for crafting the mega hit “Lollipop” for Lil Wayne. Announced features on the upcoming disc include Jennifer Hudson, Busta Rhymes and Tyrese.

The album’s first single, “Already,” will be released within the next several weeks.

Born Earl Simmons, DMX was taken into custody by police in Miami, Florida after a warrant for his arrest was issued on Tuesday. A judge issued the warrant after he missed a court date stemming from drug charges in Arizona.

Bail was initially set at $25,000, but when the entertainer’s lawyer Brad Cohen attempted to free him from a Florida jail on Friday, he discovered it had been changed. The star is now listed as having no bail hold, according to website TMZ.com.

If Cohen fails to resolve the matter, DMX will have to remain behind bars for seven weeks – until his court hearing on October 2.

DMX was reportedly trying to surrender to police through negotiations with his lawyer. The Miami police apprehended him before those talks could come to fruition.

This is the fifth time in three months that DMX has been arrested. His recent charges include speeding on a suspended license, animal cruelty, outstanding warrants, and attempted drug purchasing.
