Laura Wasser – Kelis’ divorce lawyer has submitted both Nas and Kelis’ monthly earnings to the court today to secure child support and spousal support from the rapper. According to TMZ this is what was submitted:

– Nas pulls in $244,826 a month

– Kelis rakes in a relatively paltry $13,744 a month

– Kelis should get child support totaling $17,225 a month

– Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728

– Nas should pay retro child support totaling $29,522

– Nas should pay retro spousal support totaling $281,571

“I did not receive even half that amount”… claiming it’s more like $4 mil. Nas claims his income is declining, and he’s only pulling in $147,165 a month. As for what he spends … $71,371.96 a month, which includes $10,000 a month in clothing/hair/toiletries/personal effects. Kelis, who is about to give birth to their child, claims Nas hasn’t paid a penny for child or spousal support since he left her. Nas, who says he wants to be “fully involved” in the parenting of their child, claims he’s agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling and $1,598 for two cribs. Nas thinks $5,000 a month is reasonable for child support since the kid will just be a newborn.

USHER is reportedly demanding a paternity test
to confirm he is the father of his youngest son with estranged wife TAMEKA FOSTER – because the former couple’s sex life was virtually non-existent when the tot was conceived.
The R&B superstar filed for divorce last month (12Jun09), revealing he had been living apart from the stylist since July 2008 and stating that there was “no reasonable hope of reconciliation”.
According to the National Enquirer, Usher was stunned to learn Foster was pregnant last year – because the passion
in their marriage had fizzled out months before little Naviyd Ely Raymond was born on 10 December (08).
A source tells the tabloid, “The first thing Usher said was, ‘How did this happen?’ – because he was gone a lot, and their sex life was very, very limited.
“People have been telling him that around the time the little boy was conceived, Tameka got together with another man.”
But Foster is adamant the boy is the Yeah! hitmaker’s, and claims the tot was conceived during a rare night of intimacy.
The insider adds, “She says that although they weren’t spending much time together, they did get together for one night of passion. And that’s when she got pregnant.”
In new court documents filed in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday (29Jun09), Foster insists the divorce came as a shock to her because they were “intimately together” just days before he began proceedings for a legal separation.
Her attorney continued, “(Foster) had every reason to believe her marriage was intact.”
Foster is seeking child support for the former couple’s two children Usher Raymond V, 19 months, and Naviyd, almost seven months, in addition to legal costs.
Usher is seeking joint custody of his kids.

“I want my children,” Rowe said during a 90-minute phone conversation Thursday morning with NBCLA’s Chuck Henry. Rowe said she was willing to submit to any testing, including DNA to prove that she is the children’s true biological mother. Rowe also said she would submit to psychological testing. She also said she would seek a restraining order to keep Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, away from the children.

The agreement does allow for visitation, but Rowe said it’s a very difficult process. She said if she misses a visitation date, it is difficult to reschedule with the Jacksons. “I am stepping up,” Rowe said. “I have to.” Rowe said she was still grieving. She said she decided she had to seek custody after Jackson’s death. “We had an agreement… he didn’t keep his end,” Rowe said, referring to Jackson’s death. “It hasn’t been easy. It’s been painful.” Jackson, who died at age 50, left behind three children: son Michael Joseph Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; daughter Paris Michael Katherine, 11; and son Prince Michael II, 7. Rowe was the mother of the two oldest children. The youngest was born to a surrogate mother, who has never been identified. Rowe said she was concerned about splitting up the children. She said she did not expect the court to grant custody of the third child, but added that she would be willing to accept custody.

Rowe, who was married to Jackson in 1996 and filed for divorce three years later, surrendered her parental rights. An appeals court later found that was done in error, and Rowe and Jackson entered an out-of-court settlement in 2006. In her testimony eight years ago, Rowe said, “I had the children for him. They wouldn’t be on this planet if it wasn’t for my love for him. I did it for him to become a father, not for me to become a mother. You earn the title ‘parent.” I have done absolutely nothing to earn that title.” Earlier this week, Jackson’s mother was appointed temporary guardian of the children, pending a hearing on Monday. A will signed by Jackson in 2002 and filed with the court Wednesday requests that Katherine Jackson be named guardian of the children, but in the event of her death, he asked that singer Diana Ross be appointed.

The will also specifically leaves Rowe out of any inheritance. “I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson,” the will states. Rowe’s attorney, Eric George, told the Los Angeles Times he will be at the custody hearing Monday to represent her.

Usher’s soon to be ex-wife states in a new court filing that she and the R&B star have not been separated since July 2008 and, in fact, were “intimately together” less than a week before he started divorce proceedings.

She had “every reason to believe her marriage was intact,” her attorney stated in documents filed Monday in Atlanta.

But since it wasn’t, Tameka now wants to make sure that her estranged husband takes care of all of her legal fees pertaining to the split and continues to support his family financially, per the filing.

Usher filed for divorce June 12, checking off “irretrievably broken” as his reason to end the marriage and requesting joint custody of the couple’s two sons.

Tameka Raymond has hired high powered attorney Randy Kessler for her divorce proceedings from Usher.  Though he didn’t comment on Usher’s status in the marriage he did say that his client was a “faithful wife and loving mother.” Looks like Tameka is going to build a nice case for herself.

Nas has just requested a doozy from the judge in his divorce case. He’s demanding to not have to give spousal support to Kelis…at all! She’s weeks away from birthing their son and can’t work. And Nas says he also wants her to pay her own legal fees. Nas is also demanding to have custody of the baby when he’s born.

Damon Dash has been slapped with divorce papers by wife Rachel Roy, the Daily News has learned.

The stunning fashion designer piled onto Dash’s already sizable stack of lawsuits when she filed for divorce from her husband of four years this month in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Ed Hayes, a lawyer for Roy, declined comment, and a Dash spokeswoman did not return calls or e-mails.

An electronic record of the case says the divorce is for “nonmonetary relief” and should be resolved by February.

Dash and Roy, who put her own name on a women’s fashion line, got hitched in Mexico in January 2005. They met when Roy was working at Rocawear and have two daughters.

The breakup is the latest legal mess for the has-been hip-hop titan, whose empire – which he once pegged at “about $50 million” in a New York magazine profile – has crumbled under massive debt, bad business deals and one suit after another.

According to the AP one of hip hop’s “royal couples” have finally reached an agreement:

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Marjorie Steinberg signed off on an agreement Thursday giving Kimora Lee Simmons sole custody of the couple’s two daughters, 9-year-old Ming and 6-year-old Aoki. The couple’s divorce was finalized in January. Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce in March 2008, citing irreconcilable differences.

Russell Simmons, the 51-year-old hip-hop mogul, was granted visitation rights and must pay child support until each daughter reaches 19 and a half years of age.
