Atlantic Records recording group Pretty Ricky is prepping their latest album for a summer release, with their new member 4 Play.
The Florida based foursome is gearing up to drop 80s Babies. The new disc is a follow up to the 2007 certified gold, Late Night Special which had a #1 debut on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
Pretty Ricky will premier its first single “Cuddle Up,” feat. Butta Crèame on May 19th at 7 p.m. on their website prettyricky.com. The lead single will be available for digital download the following day.
On joining the group, 4 Play said, “I’ve been working towards this moment my whole life. To see the success finally happen, to actually be making music and to be a part of the Pretty Ricky family is like watching my dreams come true. I feel truly blessed.”
Aside from the May 19th webcast, the group site also features exclusive webisodes, dubbed “21 Days of 4Play,” that began this week. The clips include unseen footage of Pretty Ricky in and out of the work setting. Fans can also get a taste of the new album via the group’s MySpace page.
