The track “I’m Beaming” that was leaked last night was NOT authorized or intentionally leaked by myself or my company. Plain and simple its STOLEN property. And this goes for ANY record or track that leaks or is made available for illegal download from this day forward. Actions are being taken and the authorities have been notified. As a personal plea to all my fans PLEASE DO NOT share, stream, or download any unauthorized or stolen Lupe Fiasco music.

A lot of time and energy goes into the creation of this music, not to mention large sums of money, money provided by my record company as well as from my own personal finances. My music is the product of my life. It means so much to me. I take pride in it and i also take pride in how it changes peoples lives and gives them hope. So to see it treated in this manner really numbs the soul. So many of my family and friends rely on me for their well-being and I rely on my music to give me the opportunities that allow me to provide for them.

So this one i’m taking personal. And I will do ALL that is in my power and my circle of influence to make sure that the persons directly or even remotely responsible for this and any future events involving the piracy and illegal distribution and solicitation of my music will be brought to justice and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Both criminally as well as civilly.

With the history that surrounds the devastating and massive piracy of my first album i’m sure some of you can understand why this very harsh stance that is being taken up. And for those of you unsympathetic enough not to understand i can only compare it to someone breaking into your house and stealing everything not tied down or someone kidnapping you sister or brother and ransoming them back to you. A deep sense of helplessness. I hope you never have to feel this and i wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

Happy Holidays…

Khloe Kardashian wed Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom Sunday evening at a private residence in Beverly Hills, PEOPLE confirms. The two were married in front of triple arches of white roses created by celebrity florist Mark’s Garden.

At 5:12 p.m., Kardashian, 25, walked down the outdoor aisle in a Vera Wang gown on the arm of her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, with sisters Kim and a pregnant Kourtney at her side.

Black-Tie
Khloe’s bridal party included half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, actresses (and twin sisters) Khadijah and Malika Haqq and actress Lauren London. The bride’s bouquet was a romantic white nosegay of roses, stephanotis and lilies of the valley, and the bridesmaids wore lavender gowns and carried bouquets of white roses.

Cameras rolled for a future episode of E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians as 250 guests – including the show’s producer Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, Odom’s Laker teammate Kobe Bryant, with his wife Vanessa, and TV personalities Chelsea Handler, Lara Spencer, Brittny Gastineau and Lala Vazquez – looked on.

Guests began arriving at the black-tie affair (at which BlackBerrys were banned) more than an hour in advance for a pre-wedding reception. A 10-piece orchestra played during the ceremony, held on the grounds of the home of music mogul Irving Azoff, a family friend. The flowers for the ceremony were all-white.

Nightclub Theme
Wedding planner Sharon Sacks created the Hollywood nightclub-themed reception that followed in a tent on the property, fitted with dark wooden walls, white carpeting, silver mirrors and chandeliers. The tables were decorated with tall white centerpieces with lavender touches made of roses, calla lilies and exotic leaves in soaring glass vases.

Babyface sang during the reception, and a DJ flown in from New York was booked to keep the party going until 11:00 p.m.

Elegant white and silver invitations went out to guests just days before the ceremony, hosted by Khloe’s mom Kris Jenner and her stepdad. Also among those who attended were Luke Walton, Phil Jackson, Mitch Kupchak and Sasha Vujacic.

Lavish Menu
The four-course dinner began with chilled heirloom tomato soup with burrata (mozzarella and cream), a salad of melons with fresh figs and feta, followed by a choice of filet mignon or wild salmon fillet and a dessert trio. The four-tier wedding cake was by Hansen’s Cakes.

Earlier in the week, Khloe prepared for the whirlwind wedding, choosing items for her wedding registry and celebrating with a bachelorette party, all while being followed by the E! cameras.

Asked if would consider producing a show with Khloe and Lamar, Ryan Seacrest replied, “I’m seriously thinking about it.”

I’m not taking any sides but it seem’s like Ross is just digging his own grave as of right now. He’s still trying hard to promote his album on behalf of 50 Cent and Keep’s mentioning Dr Dre like he is goning to respond then goe’s on stating him and Eminem is going to do a track together, and how can we forget him seting black people back another 20 years by calling another “Monkey”? Ever since the beef has started i haven’t even heard any tracks with Ross going on in more then 45 secounds on any one in the Unit. Keep in mind that Trilla Sold 190,000 first week therefore if he sell’s any lower then that his carreer is officially over when Dej Jam don’t make all that promotion money back when soundscan get’s released on April 29.

Budgets are being cut, albums are collecting dust on the shelves and concertgoers are becoming scarcer. With the music industry being one of the recession’s hardest hit victims, even typically flamboyant rappers have been forced to re-assess their spending habits. Some confessed to cutting back while others say they’ve yet to feel the crunch.
XXLMag caught up with the likes of E-40, Akon, Pusha T and Mr. Recession himself, Young Jeezy, to discuss the effects of the recession.

Young Jeezy: I mean, I probably cut back on some of my spending habits, you know what I’m sayin’? Not really habits, but it’s probably some things that I always want that I don’t need, so I’m cutting back on the extra stuff…Wants and needs are two different things, nah mean? So I’m focusing more on what I need.

Akon: I’ve been very blessed to be in a situation where music and fashion is always recession proof in a lot of different ways, because it’s really what we turn to when we’re going through hard times. If I got to the point where the recession actually affected me I would cut back on all them cars I got. I would start selling them if I can. That’s the only thing I spend more than I have to on. Only cause it’s my fetish and I just love cars, but I already know it in my mind that I won’t buy it if I ain’t ready to let it go tomorrow. I know at the end of the day, my hustler mentality if I have to survive, that car is out of here, straight up.

E-40: It’s the ripple effect. If there ain’t no money out there in the streets, any money out there for our audience to go buy our music, then our sales go down. That affects our pockets. A dude might be financially comfortable or whatever, but then you have people that’s affiliated with you that might be going through it. Sometimes you gotta sacrifice and come out the pocket. They think it won’t hurt you, but in a way if you do with four, five different people, it do affect. It’s life in general. Everybody getting it right now as far as this recession. Right now, it’s either feast or famine. You’re either eating or you ain’t, so you gotta hold on like a hubcap in a fast lane. The strong gon be able to survive.

Tru Life: Oh nah, that shit [recession] ain’t touched me not a bit. It ain’t a game man. I just bought 4 or 5 brand new black cars and only because I felt like the haters thought I was doing bad or something. Now it looks like a funeral when I pull up. They just saw me being humble, I’m a real humble dude. You know I live by my needs, I don’t really live outside of my needs. I’m not the nigga running around with the fancy car living in the projects. Like, I went and bought my house before I bought anything. I’m doing pretty well. Never had an album out in my life. But I’m doing real good by the graces of Allah. It’s all Allah’s will. I respect that, that’s why I give back all the time. I help out all the time. They talk about me doing all the foul shit but never talk about you might catch me in the Bowery, in the homeless shelter washing dishes or something my nig. That’s the kind of dude Tru life is. I just wanted to show niggas I ain’t starving.

Saigon: Has the recession affected me? Nah I wouldn’t say so. I don’t think the recession affects any poor people – people who grew up poor – cause we’d been in a recession since we was born. When has there not been a recession in the hood.

Pusha T: If you’re asking me have I felt the recession, look, let me tell you that I’m so happy at gas prices right now, and this is something that I’ve never in my life noticed. Some things you just chalk up like, what, it has to go in the car. But it was so bad that it had me thinking like, ‘Damn, am I really gonna drive uptown?’ So I definitely felt it. But just like with everything, you adjust and the background that The Clipse have, that’s all we know, to adjust and roll with the punches and make our way out of it.

Evidence: I’ve had the best two years in many years these past couple of years, financially. I mean, all I did was shows. Shit, you do 150 shows, you don’t come home, I mean it’s not comfortable, it’s not ideal, I’d much rather be in my backyard, but my accountant was like, ’shit, you did really good this year.’ I was like, really? All these little things added up. All these little fucking hustles. Like, I do feel it, there was a couple days when shit was fucked up. And now my family’s feeling it, my cousins are feeling it, my father is feeling it crazy. It is effecting me indirectly, but I’m like yo, I been hustling all year, like really grinding.

Big Daddy Kane: Not really because I don’t ball out like that anyway. I’m not a kid no more, those days are long gone. The silly stuff like that isn’t even important anymore, so I don’t think I’m doing too much differently.

Asher Roth gathered a small group of journalists to preview his debut album, Asleep in the Bread Aisle, due out April 21. While a few finishing touches still need to be put in place, the album is essentially done. The Pennsylvania rapper warns those listening to put aside any expectations for good reason; while he still shows shades of the jokey freestyle MC heard on mixtapes, Asher’s songwriting proves he’s bringing more than a bunch of funny punch lines.

One of the biggest surprises on the album is Oren Yoel, an unknown producer whose beat got to Asher’s people by a stroke of luck. Upon hearing Yoel’s one track, Asher met, bonded with, and ended up working on the bulk of the album with him. Yoel’s tracks provide a cohesive sound to the album and complement Asher’s lyrics by bringing something new to the table.

“If no one else is going to say what I want to say, then I’m just going to,” Asher explains simply of the album’s tone. Asher forgoes the fantasy life of most of his predecessors and sticks to everyday subjects that rap fans can relate to, even if it is more fun to pretend to go to the clubs and “make it rain.” But that doesn’t mean Asher Roth isn’t having fun with his music; he’s just doing it with a few beers instead of champagne.

As usual, a few details of the album are sure to change by its release date, but based on the goods we heard, Asher Roth is in the perfect position to defy expectations and actually live up to his hype.

Check out the official tracklisting below, which includes 13 records featuring rapper Ludacris, pop duo Chester French, and funky MC/producer Cee-Lo, plus production from Don Cannon, Novel, and more.

1. “Lark On My Go-Kart”
Produced by Oren Yoel

A hard break and fuzzy pianos back Asher on this straight-forward opener. No hooks or odd structures, just Asher on the mic making sure listeners know that even though he doesn’t like to call himself a rapper, he’s got rhymes galore.

2. “Blunt Cruisin’”
Produced by Oren Yoel

Heading more towards the conceptual songwriting that Asher prefers, he tells a story about smoking blunts in his homeboy’s car and provides listeners instructions on the best ways to do the same. The beat speeds and slows throughout, moving fluidly with Asher’s funny-because-it’s-true verses.

3. “I Love College”
Produced by Mike Caren & Ben Allen

A little bit of old-school hip-hop and a little bit of folk rock blend together behind Asher revealing how much fun college is if you don’t count going to class. The first single, “College” is a good display of Asher’s ability to be humorous while still staying grounded in reality.

4. “Bad Day” featuring Jazze Pha
Produced by Oren Yoel

Jazze provides the hook to this story about a really aggravating trip on the way to a friend’s wedding. Anyone who’s flown commercial in the last 10 years will know exactly why something as seemingly mundane as a trip to the airport can easily turn into a horror story and Asher takes the opportunity to tell his.

5. “Be By Myself” featuring Cee-Lo
Produced by Oren Yoel

This is one of the tracks that Asher is most excited about. During the listening, Cee-Lo’s vocals hadn’t been mixed into the track yet, but his unmistakable sound on the references that we heard is something to be excited about. What Asher’s not excited about, however, is dating the girl he’s talking to in this song, explaining to her that he’d rather just be by himself.

6. “Sour Patch Kids”
Produced by Oren Yoel

Asher gets political with commentary similar to his “A Milli” freestyle. His management hinted that there’s a possibility of a well-known, conscious-minded MC jumping on this track at the last minute, but the specifics were kept quiet.

7. “She Don’t Want a Man”
Produced by Oren Yoel

This is a possible second single and probably the most pop-ish song on the album. On a song that he says was inspired by his two older sisters, Asher talks about a girl headed to the club to have a good time with her friends instead of being hounded by guys. Various names are being discussed to sing the hook (i.e. Lady GaGa, Keri Hilson, Jazmine Sullivan).

8. “As I Em” featuring Chester French
Produced by Oren Yoel

Asher knows critics compare him to Eminem, especially since the topic has come up in every single interview he’s done since his career took off. He takes the opportunity to deal with the subject, acknowledging the complexity of the issue and, hopefully, putting the issue to rest once and for all. “If I don’t talk about what people are already thinking,” he says, “then they’ll just keep thinking that. You have to go at the blockage.”

9. “His Dream” featuring Miguel
Produced by Oren Yoel

In an attempt to make a positive hip-hop song about an MC’s father, Asher pays tribute to his father who sacrificed his own dreams of becoming a writer to provide for the family. Asher talks about carrying the torch for his father’s dreams and thanks him for making his music career possible.

10. “Ladida”
Produced by Don Cannon

Another possible single, Asher brushes off the frustrations of life and the game on a soulful beat from Don Cannon (Ludacris, Busta Rhymes).

11. “Leo the Lion” featuring Ludacris
Produced by Oren Yoel

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to hear Luda’s verse but judging by the bouncy, syncopated track and Asher’s rapid-fire flow, he’ll be right at home. Oren Yoel continues to show his diversity, moving from the more traditional style he uses on much of the album to a more modern party-starter.

12. “Fallin’”
Produced by Novel

This is the story of Asher’s courtship with hip-hop and his rhyming beginnings. Any hip-hop fan will probably identify with parts of this tale and think back to the records, tapes, and CDs from their own younger days.

13. “Nothing You Can’t Do”
Produced by Nottz

As it would turn out, in between the blunts and keg stands, Asher was in college studying to become a teacher, a job that he still actually plans to go back to one day. He gets inspirational for the closer, reminding listeners that there’s nothing they can’t do if they put their minds to it since life is too short to waste on nonsense.

It seems as if 50 cent has fell of alot since his last album “curtis” even though it reached commercial success, selling 691,000 copies in its first week after sales been down. His flow has changed and his lyrics has became a bit simple while he aim to make catchy singles for the market, and now his first single off his last album with interscop has debuted a all time low #64 on the billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a 50 Cent single. Needless to say it didn’t reach Hot 100.
